Darin joined our studio after making a name for himself in Arizona. His fine line work and attention to detail makes him highly sought after in the surrealism and black and grey realism.

Darin got into the industry by accident after his friend introduced him to the world of fine art tattoo in 2011. He has been painting and practicing various forms of art since childhood and found it to be a natural transition to permanent body art. He chose to join our studio because of a mutual desire to emphasize fine art in the tattoo industry.

"I have always wanted to be a part of a studio that has a foundation in fine art mediums and doubles their space as an art gallery. The studio also suits my taste of atmosphere and decor; I feel like I don't leave home when I go to work."

His passion is in surrealist black and grey work, though he also enjoys portraits, various horror inspired pieces, and nature inspired themes. He has developed background styles that are exclusive to his portfolio and are easily recognizable outside of the studio. 

He approaches every piece with overall balance and composition in mind, seeing the forest rather than the trees. He prioritizes each of his client's unique aesthetic and style. Darin customizes the piece to the anatomy before him in order to create something that is beautiful and unique to the individual. He relishes in the duality of joy that both he and his client experience in creating a living form of art work.
